Gendered socialization and differential achievement in sciences in China and in France

While the last PISA report shows very contrasting results between China and France about the differentiated performance of girls and boys in science, we try to understand how gender socialization of each country may explain these results, taking care to restore the variety of situations, including social and geographical.
